If your interest in AIRIE and our website + blog has been for informational purposes, we apologize for the cliffhanger. A year later we are finally back and ready to continue our series on Re-Os dating, namely, actually calculating the age!
On the other hand, if your interest in AIRIE relates to timely analysis of your sample(s), reading our publications, and enlisting our help to unravel your geochronological situation -- you know we've been busy and will continue to prioritize our collaborative work with you.
Reflecting on 368 Days
While updates to the website were few over the last 368 days, AIRIE was busy, here are the highlights:
* Analyzed in excess of 150 samples for Re-Os geochronology; from a single molybdenite for industry to support their fieldwork to a complex 30+ sample dataset for a student.
* Kept turn around times as quick as possible depending on the size of the project. Many molybdenite analyses were completed within a month from sample receipt at AIRIE to final report delivered to collaborator.
* AIRIE's first vendor exhibition at PDAC; a resounding success and enlightening peek into an industry-centric conference instead of the academic-centric conferences we usually attend.
* Similarly, AIRIE will present at the SEG conference in Namibia and the AME Roundup in Vancouver. We hope to see you there.
* AIRIE also published our first marketing advertisement in SEG Discovery just in time to highlight Holly Stein's SEG Gold Medal award. She will be recognized at the SEG conference in Namibia as well.
* AIRIE's publication record continues to grow with 4 published articles, 4 in review or accepted, and 4 more in co-author review.
